Position Overview
We are seeking a highly technical, forward thinking Senior Solutions Architect to join our client’s Technology and Innovation Council (TIC), an elite team focused on identifying, prototyping, and scaling emerging technologies that solve complex Federal mission challenges.
This is not a traditional architecture role. The TIC operates at the intersection of innovation, engineering, capture strategy, and mission delivery. Team members are hands-on builders and strategic advisors who rapidly transform ideas into scalable, enterprise-ready solutions that drive measurable impact across Federal Health and National Security programs.
As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will lead the design and development of modern cloud-native solutions, AI-enabled applications, and advanced technical demonstrations that support customer engagements, strategic pursuits, and mission transformation initiatives. You will work closely with engineering teams, capture and proposal leadership, and executive stakeholders to architect differentiated technical solutions that position for growth and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities
The estimated salary range for this position is $210,000 – $230,000 annually, based on market benchmarks within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. This range represents a good faith estimate and may vary depending on several factors, including the scope of the role, geographic location, education, certifications, technical skills, and overall relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop scalable, secure, cloud-native solutions leveraging modern engineering and DevSecOps practices
- Design and build proof-of-concept applications, prototypes, and technical accelerators that demonstrate emerging technology capabilities
- Evaluate emerging technologies and translate innovation into practical mission-focused solutions
- Develop automation tools and reusable frameworks that improve operational efficiency and scalability across programs
- Lead technical solutioning efforts for Federal opportunities, aligning stakeholders across engineering, delivery, and business development teams
- Deliver compelling technical presentations, demonstrations, and whiteboard sessions to customers, partners, and industry audiences
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor during capture, proposal, and oral presentation activities
- Respond confidently to technical inquiries and provide strategic guidance on architecture, modernization, and implementation approaches
- Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, data scientists, and product teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions
- Apply cybersecurity and secure software development best practices throughout the solution lifecycle
- Contribute hands-on development support across architecture, integration, automation, and application modernization initiatives
- Create reusable technical artifacts, architectural patterns, and proposal content to support future growth efforts
- Support technical proposal development, including solution architecture, technical writing, diagrams, and compliance reviews
- Review and refine technical content to ensure feasibility, accuracy, and alignment with customer requirements
- Contribute to thought leadership initiatives, white papers, and innovation-focused content that strengthens market presence
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent professional experience)
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, solution architecture, and enterprise application development
- Demonstrated experience leading technical teams and delivering enterprise-scale cloud-based systems within complex environments
- Experience supporting large-scale Federal programs or technology modernization initiatives
- Proven ability to develop and present technical demonstrations, proofs of concept, and innovative solution strategies to customers and stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience supporting Federal proposals, technical documentation, and presentations
- Strong hands-on experience with Python and modern software development frameworks
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools and emerging AI technologies within enterprise environments
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure
- Experience developing applications using low-code/no-code platforms
- Experience designing and implementing data engineering, integration, or analytics solutions
- Front-end development experience using technologies such as JavaScript, React, HTML, and CSS
- Familiarity with relational databases, data lakes, data warehouses, and enterprise data architectures
- Understanding of governance frameworks related to AI, cloud, cybersecurity, and enterprise data management
- Experience operating within Agile and DevSecOps delivery environments
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD best practices
- Palantir certification and hands-on Palantir development experience
- Experience supporting Federal Health or National Security mission environments
- Experience leading technical capture or innovation initiatives within the Federal contracting space
- Master’s degree in a related technical field
